The architect has also won the Stirling Prize, which is the United Kingdoms most prestigious award in the field of architecture. Zaha Hadid was the only woman to receive the honor of Royal Gold Medal given by the Royal Institute of British Architects. The major projects that was undertaken by Zaha Hadid are Maxxi, Bridge Pavilion, Maggies Centre, Contemporary Arts Centre. The architect also constructed the aquatic centre, which was a part of the London Olympics in the year 2012.
